What is Calm and Sense™ What is Calm and Sense?  Exactly what it sounds like!  Well, sort of.  Calm and Sense™ is a way of living, thinking, and being that just makes good sense if you are looking to live a life that is freer from stress and conflict than the one you are currently living.  The name and theory were born from my experience treating people in my private practice.  People present with a myriad of problems that are as varying as people themselves.  However, at the core, we are all human and striving to meet our own basic needs.  It is from these similarities that the idea for Calm and Sense™ was born.  Please read on to see the basic components that make up Calm and Sense™.

1.  Live with integrity.  Life is just easier and more peaceful when you live as honestly as you can.  Being able to look yourself in the mirror means no longer having to hide from who you are.

2.   Embrace who you are.  Take the time to reflect upon your life and look at who it is that you really are and what is your style of being. Then be it, without apologies.

3.  Accept those around you.  People are often just doing the best they can, life is not always pretty and people make mistakes.  Embrace them for who they are rather than persecuting them for who they are not.

4. Create, the world around you as you want to live it.  Do not miss the opportunities, no matter how small, for self expression.

5. Strive for what you want.  Success comes to those who pursue it.

6. Balance; too much of anything is no good.  You know you are out of balance when things don't feel good anymore.

7. Peace.  Strive for peace of mind, peace of body, and peace of spirit.

8.  Accept that change, disappointments and pain are an inevitable part of life. So are success, joy, happiness and beauty.

A peaceful, balanced soul transcends moments of strife and struggle.  No one can change the inherent you.  Honor your spirit; honor your soul and other’s as well.  When this becomes your way of life, a storm can rock you but at your core you are unshakable.  Life is not a sprint, but more like a cross country race that requires endurance.  Start developing that strength and endurance now, today.
